HEADLAMPS: Round headlamps bookend the iconic seven-slot
grille to give the Wrangler JK its distinctive look. They light up the road
ahead with available bright white LED technology. Fog lamps come in handy when
conditions demand | Â HEADLAMPS: The headlamps are still the same round shape.
However, the JL model also features a horizontal design within the headlamp.
|
TURN SIGNALS: The turn signals will be located next to the grille,
below the headlamps.
| TURN SIGNALS: The turn signals on the JL model will be on the
fender. |
GRILLE: The grille has less dimension than the JL, as it is
fairly straight up and down without a bend.
| Â JL BODY: New air extractors have been added behind the fender
flares to help cool the engine compartment. The Jeep® Brand badge moves from
the hood back to the side of the aluminum fender, a look reminiscent of past
models.
|
WINDSHIELD/BUMPERS: The JK has both the rubber bumpers and washers on
the hood of the Wrangler. Folding the hood can be completed with a few more
steps than with the JL model. Still easy to fold, but with a few additional
steps.
| Â WINDSHIELD/BUMPERS: The rubber bumpers on the hood of the Wrangler
will also have washers in them. Folding the windshield down is much easier than
with the JK. There are a few screws inside of the wrangler that allow for the
windshield to fold. |
